I may have to reformat a few of the posts. It seems the screen I post from is considerably diff than what it looks like on the blog. The pics are all over the show lol. The first couple worked out ok so I stopped using the preview. Whoops lol.
I started out today completing the glass dome on the hatchery. I went with the tinted dome. I'm not sure what I think of it. I mean it looks pretty good but I'm not sure I'm sold on it yet. I can always remodel it later. I ended up using ramps instead of roof's on the square sections. I couldn't get the roof's to snap to anything I had in place so ramps it is. Not sure why square roof's won't snap to tri ceilings. Tri roof's snap to square ceilings after all...
Oh and I built two upside down towers. I was thinking the underside of the upper plat needed something to break up the lines a bit and I've always wanted to try upside down building. They are currently just shells as with most of the build but I'm quite happy with them (well one has some ramps and levels in it so a little more than a shell). I had to drop the flier platform down to fit them in and still have room to use the platform but that wasn't a huge problem. I also trimmed the flier plat in stone which def seems to have tied things in much better. I'm thinking of a third tower but it will be offset to break up the symmetry I can see sneaking back in lol.
